Commitment to Impartiality
Impartiality is fundamental to the credibility of ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification and is actively managed across all certification processes.
Independence from Training
Param Personnel Certification Body:
- Does not deliver training
- Does not provide examination preparation services
- Does not recommend or promote training providers
Certification is available to applicants regardless of where or how they obtained their training or experience.
Management of Conflicts of Interest
Potential conflicts of interest are identified, analysed, and managed to ensure objective certification outcomes.
This includes conflicts relating to:
- Applicants and certified individuals
- Assessors and decision-makers
- Governance and management personnel
Where a conflict cannot be effectively managed, the individual concerned is excluded from the related activity.
Separation of Certification Functions
To protect impartiality:
- Assessment activities are separated from certification decision-making
- Certification decisions are made by authorised personnel independent of assessment
- No individual participates in activities that could compromise objectivity
Ethical Conduct
All personnel involved in certification activities are required to:
- Act with integrity and professionalism
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Avoid undue influence or bias
- Comply with applicable ethical and professional conduct requirements
Ethical conduct is a condition of participation in certification activities.
Impartiality Oversight
Arrangements are in place to monitor and safeguard impartiality on an ongoing basis. Concerns relating to impartiality or ethical conduct may be raised through the complaints process and are reviewed in accordance with documented procedures.
